This is just a quick one. I have access to a computer so I can draft entries a bit better and not have to write on the fly in the cafe.
I have spent a great deal of time at Familia Moja and am slowly learning the way of life for an orphaned child in Kenya.
In brief I have spent a morning hand washing sheets and clothes for 27 children, peeled a bag of potatoes, sorted through beans and rice to pick out the bad bits, attended church with the community and been harassed by the local nutter who, as the children say, is ‘not normal’.
I promise to elaborate in the next post.
